Performance Foodservice, a top-tier food distributor delivering a vast range of products to diverse dining establishments across the U.S., is seeking a motivated Sales Representative for River Falls, Wisconsin. This role is critical in fostering strong relationships with new and existing customers and driving our business goals within the region. As a Sales Representative, you will utilize your knowledge of the food and beverage industry and your sales acumen to effectively meet the needs of our clients and contribute to our growth strategy. Develop and maintain positive relationships with current and potential clients in the food and beverage sector. Meet and exceed sales targets by implementing effective sales strategies. Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs. Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services. Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections. Collaborate with team members to achieve better results and attend team meetings and share best practice techniques. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proven ability to negotiate and strong persuasive skills Ability to deliver engaging presentations Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude Experience with CRM software and MS Office Knowledge of the food service industry and product offerings Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Relevant sales certification (e.g., Certified Professional Sales Person (CPSP), or equivalent) is preferred but not required.
