System One is actively recruiting for a Land Rights Technician to support a contract position with a hybrid schedule based in Minneapolis, MN.

Land Rights Technician will be responsible for administrative tasks with significant responsibility, including managing land rights agreements, processing payments, and coordinating with various staff.

Land Rights Technician Responsibilities: Manages inboxes, processing payments, setting up vendors in SAP, attending team huddles, and handling administrative tasks.
Handling land records, permits, easements, and railroad agreements.
The technician will act as a gatekeeper for payments, ensuring proper documentation and compliance
Support a sizable team, interacting with land agents, consultants, and encoding staff.
Maintain and prepare contracts in SAP and payment processing for outside contractors and vendors.
Coordinate payment of railroad license and wind/solar lease payments.


Land Rights Technician Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent (contract management, real estate, paralegal or data management degree preferred).

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office products (Word, Outlook).
Records management experience.
Good communication skills.
Attention to detail.
Technical background in accounting or land rights.
Ability to work collaboratively.
Background in land rights, paralegal work, or accounting are preferred.
Experience levels can vary, from fresh graduates to those looking for a change of pace.


Project Location: Minneapolis, MN
Work Schedule: The position is hybrid, with 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) onsite downtown Minneapolis
Contract Duration: 12-Months
Hourly Pay Rate: $30.00 - $37.00 DOE
Work Schedule: The position is hybrid, with 3 days a week onsite at 414 Nicollet.
