Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Fire & Security Low Voltage Technician.This position involves installing, maintaining, and repairing fire alarm systems, security systems, and access control solutions. The technician will troubleshoot technical issues, ensure system compliance with applicable codes, and deliver high-quality service to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, service, and repair fire alarms, security systems, and access control systems.


Diagnose technical issues and provide timely, effective resolutions.


Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.


Collaborate with clients and team members to ensure project success and customer satisfaction.


Ensure work complies with industry standards, local regulations, and safety codes.



Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (required).


Completion of a technical program in electronics, electrical, or mechanical fields (preferred).


Proven experience working with fire alarms, security, and access control systems.


Knowledge of electrical and electronic theory.


Ability to read and understand technical diagrams and blueprints.


Valid PLT License (preferred).


NICET Certification (preferred).


Skilled in using hand and power tools, with the ability to perform physically demanding tasks.


Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.


Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no DWI or accidents in the last 3 years).


Ability to bend, climb ladders, and lift up to 40 lbs.


Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends.
