-Inventory Specialist- Nursery -Full-Time Position -Bachman's is

nursery product, understand the importance of inventory, and have

DUTIES:
Utilize the Inventory Management
System (Eagle) to perform item maintenance, manage product data
integrity, create new items, and monitor inventory levels for
Nursery products -including container Roses, Shrubs, Evergreens,
and Trees.Track and communicate Nursery product availability and
inventory updates to the Wholesale Sales team. Record inventory
adjustments, spoilage markdowns, and manage transfers of
products/supplies between Lakeville departments and Retail Stores.
- Provide clerical support to Lakeville Nursery Departments as
needed throughout the season, including Word Processing,
spreadsheet entry, filing, creating product tags, and providing
backup on phones.Aid with the creation of purchase orders and
processing of incoming product receipts under the buyer's
direction. - Create restocking orders for Nursery products at both
the Cedar Acres and Wholesale locations.Work with partnered Freight
carriers to communicate and schedule inbound shipments of nursery
products to the Lakeville facility.Maintain Wholesale signage
database and initiate print requests from the internal Printshop
when needed throughout the season.Assist with Retail and Wholesale
website product launches.Provide Wholesale and Retail Catalog
production support in the off-season through the use of WordPress
and InDesign programs -QUALIFICATIONS:
Two-year horticulture or related
certificate, plus two years of nursery experience OR a total of 3
years of customer service/nursery experience Computer inventory
skills required (PC skills, excel spreadsheet, and word processor
skills, etc.)Eagle/Epicor knowledge or ability to learn for
receiving, transferring, and maintaining data integrity.Excellent
verbal and written communication skills.Good organization skills to
manage multiple responsibilities.Able to problem solve
independently and as a part of the inventory team. - Ability to
work in a fast-paced, busy environment. - Prefer MNLA certification
and knowledge of plant scientific names.Interest in agricultural
products and desire to learn more. - -SCHEDULE:
Monday- Friday, Saturdays during May
and June. Some overtime during the busy season. -BENEFITS: -
