Position location: We're all about flexibility! This will be a hybrid role based out of Lakeville or Boston, MA with Mondays & Fridays remote. (Relocation assistance available). A Day in the Life of a Director, Supply Chain Strategy: Develops and drives operations and supply chain strategic roadmap that includes global demand aligned with LRP, capacity & capability to manufacture, network optimization, and investment and improvement plans. Executes strategic alignment across supply chain and commercial business units. Drives Manufacturing capacity reviews, manufacturing network sourcing assessments, make vs. buy, contingency planning, assists with development of new manufacturing technologies in line with need. Executes Network Optimization strategies designed to lower the total landed cost for the Ocean Spray's global food and beverage businesses Prepare the organization for the future by maintaining a strategic perspective. Scans the environment to identify information critical to long-range planning and develop sustainable, competitive and breakthrough strategies and plans Help to drive Operations Planning, Global Customer Operations, Logistics, and MFG process-specific improvement activities with team to integrate production planning, sourcing, and manufacturing into cohesive product supply strategy. Includes tools, people, and emerging technologies. Drive strategic supply chain capital planning, aligned with operational leaders, Commercial, Engineering, and finance functions. Interfaces with Transformation Team and all functional groups to drive finality to identified projects and brings best practices and executes change that links continuous improvement opportunities with short-term tactical and long-term strategic initiatives Assists with the evaluation of M&A considerations, including additional capacity/demand, capabilities, and overall supply chain value to the Co-Op Support design-to-value process with Team as appropriate Recognize and support organizational and team goals, collaborate with others and encourage team members to support each other Actively seek and share information to ensure common understanding, particularly with Manufacturing, Procurement, & Demand functions Use personal judgment and initiative to develop effective and constructive solutions to challenges and obstacles facing operations Motivate and develops others towards goals using a variety of influencing skills and strategies. Distinguish between levels of ability and provide appropriate training. Working knowledge and implementation/leadership experience with Lean MFG principles and Continuous Improvement strategies What We're Looking For: Manufacturing leadership experience required (Plant Manager) Knowledge of a majority of the following: Supply Planning inc. Inventory Control & Replenishment, Customer Operations, Demand Planning, Procurement, Materials Planning, Logistics Experience with supporting strategic innovation pipeline within manufacturing Experience with Consumer Product Goods required Experience with ERP, Demand Planning, Production Planning, WMS, TMS, Network Optimization, and MMS systems Lean Six Sigma continuous improvement knowledge Ability to anticipate future consequences and trends accurately Proven ability to get things done both through formal channels and influence within informal networks Strong Leadership Skills and Background Ability to drive results Highly Analytical, Data-driven & Numbers savvy.
