Our client, a leading organization in the industrial manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated Traffic Administrator to join their team. As a Traffic Administrator, you will be an essential part of the operations support team, ensuring smooth and compliant international shipments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Traffic Administrator Location: Shakopee, MN (4 Days Onsite, 1 Day Remote) Pay Range: $22.32 - $33.48/hour Position Type : 3-Month Contract Shift: Monday - Friday (8AM - 4:30PM), with potential overtime on weekends if required What's the Job? Ensure compliance with U.S. and foreign export/import regulations for all shipments. Maintain current knowledge of international trade laws and work collaboratively to improve processes. Prepare and issue documentation required for import/export transactions using various trade compliance software programs. Coordinate with freight forwarders, brokers, and transportation resources to facilitate cost-effective and high-quality delivery. Monitor carrier performance, resolve transit issues, and ensure timely processing of shipments and documentation. What's Needed? High school diploma or GED equivalent. At least three (3) years of related experience in transportation or trade compliance; relevant training or education can substitute for experience. Ability to maneuver through trade compliance software and prepare import/export documentation. Strong communication skills and customer-focused approach.
