Compensation Overview The annual base salary range provided for
this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad
range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual
salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors,
including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the
skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the
candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our
comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also
eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards. Salary Range

Opportunity? As a member of Enterprise AI and Emerging
Technologies, you’ll be joining a strategic and collaborative team
that is passionate about transforming our business and technology
capabilities and paving the way for best-in-class technology. As
Director of Data Engineering, you’ll lead a dynamic DevOps team,
balancing strategic leadership with hands-on technical expertise.
This player-coach role requires guiding teams through complex AI
implementations while actively contributing to critical projects.
You’ll shape the future of AI adoption across the enterprise while
building and mentoring high-performing engineering teams. In this
highly visible role, we will look to you to: • Build and maintain
robust CICD pipelines that enable seamless deployment of AI/ML
models and data solutions across the enterprise. • Design and
implement robust DevOps practices that support the entire
application and model development lifecycle, from development to
production. • Play a key role in growing and transforming our
analytics and technology infrastructure through automation and best
practices. • Lead a highly effective and responsive DevOps team in
supporting a portfolio of applications across the EAI&ET value
stream. • Champion cybersecurity, application compliance, and data
governance policies across the value stream. What Will You Do? Lead
development of analytic data products, including pilots and proof
of concepts. Execute data strategies with an understanding of
enterprise architecture, consumption patterns, platforms and
application infrastructure. Manage the operationalizing and
automating of all capabilities to ensure secure, supported and
scalable solutions. Present analysis and recommendations to help
influence management decisions. Guide and coach team members to
accelerate career development. Establish team processes and
procedures. Maintain relationships with partner teams to ensure
needs are met and impacted areas plan work accordingly. Perform
other duties as assigned. What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?
Bachelor’s Degree in STEM related field or equivalent. Five or more
years of related experience. Two or more years of management
experience. Strong organizational skills and ability to build
relationships across the enterprise. Proven track record of
implementing cutting-edge technology trends and techniques in AI
and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), including Kubernetes, Python,
Docker, AWS, LLMs, etc. Experience working with stakeholders to
identify opportunities to educate on risks and opportunities in the
delivery of AI-based solutions. Passion for Artificial Intelligence
and for driving the adoption of AI-based technologies to improve
business processes and outcomes. Critical-thinking engineering
mindset and ability to identify and design solutions that simplify
the application development lifecycle. Advanced knowledge of data
tools, techniques, and manipulation including cloud platforms,
programming languages, and technology platforms. Background CI/CD
practice and automated testing tools. Experience with
enterprise-scale AI implementations and both NoSQL and RDBMS
databases. Proficiency with AWS infrastructure, including
Sagemaker, Glue, Lambda, and EKS. Track record of successful
stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration. What is
a Must Have? Bachelor’s degree in computer science, related STEM
field, or its equivalent in education and/or work experience. 6
additional years of data engineering experience. What Is in It for
