Job Description Job Description Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2 years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Surgical Technologist skilled in Orthopedic procedures with a focus on Total Joints, Trauma, Neuro, Peripheral Vascular, and Cardiovascular cases. This travel assignment is based in Eden Prairie, MN, offering diverse surgical experiences in a well-respected hospital setting. Location Eden Prairie, MN, is a vibrant city known for its welcoming community, parks, and proximity to the Twin Cities metropolitan area. Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain the operating room environment, ensuring instruments and supplies are sterile and ready. Assist surgeons during orthopedic and other surgical cases by anticipating needs and handling instruments. Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. Maintain meticulous documentation and adhere to hospital protocols, including EPIC documentation systems. Flexibility to float within the OR and work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed. Qualifications and Experience Active NBSTSA or NCCT certification required. Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a surgical setting. Proficient in orthopedic surgical technology, including total joint replacements and trauma. Experience with Neuro, Peripheral Vascular, and Cardiovascular cases preferred. Familiarity with EPIC system and DaVinci robotics is essential. Ability to adapt to 10-hour shifts varying from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM start times. No new graduates accepted; must have up-to-date certifications and competencies. Additional Details This is a travel position with flexibility to relocate. Weekend and holiday shifts required as needed. No on-call duties. Maximum 7 days of Return to Orientation (RTO).
