Job Description:

Mayo Clinic, a leading nonprofit in medical practice and research, is seeking a dedicated CT Technologist to join our radiology team. In this role, you will operate computed tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-sectional images of patients’ internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issues. A successful candidate will strive to embody our commitment to expert, whole-person care by ensuring the highest quality imaging and patient safety. Operate CT equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images according to physician orders. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the safety of patients and staff. Prepare patients and explain imaging procedures to ease anxieties and obtain cooperation. Perform routine maintenance checks and troubleshoot CT machine issues to ensure operational efficiency. Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, including complex and emergency cases. Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to confidentiality guidelines. Proficiency in operating CT imaging equipment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Certified and registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS)
