Cardiovascular Technologist Location: Minneapolis, MN Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,814 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Echo Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cardiac Sonographer Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 (07:30 - 16:00) Experience: Minimum 5 years required License: Pending State License accepted Certifications: BLS and RDCS - Adults required. RDCS-Peds preferred. Must-Have: - Work setting experience: Inpatient and ER required. - Echo procedure experience: 3/D Echo, Bubble Study, Contrast Agents, M-Mode, Pharm Stress Echos, RIT/RVOT, TEE, and Treadmill Stress Echos. - Equipment/scanner experience: Siemens and Phillips. Description: Position for an Echo Tech with a daily caseload of 75-100 inpatient and outpatient echoes. The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience. First-time travelers are not accepted. Weekend availability is required depending on the schedule. Occasional on-call duties may be included. Floating within scope to meet facility needs is expected. Block schedule accommodation is available. Local candidates are accepted. RTO restrictions ideally require no more than 5 days off. The client may cancel up to 3 shifts per candidate without penalty. On-call hours do not count towards guaranteed minimum hours. BLS and RDCS certifications are mandatory. Experience with portable studies and Syngo is required. IV starts, PACS, and biopsies are preferred qualifications. Work with various echocardiogram procedures is expected. Department scans a high volume of echoes daily. Preferred experience includes inpatient, outpatient, teaching hospitals, PICU, neonate, and NICU. The ideal candidate should possess a thorough understanding of echocardiography practices.
