Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Required Certifications: BLS
required Must-Have: Must have at least 1 year of experience outside
of school. Prefer 3 years of experience outside of school. Prefer
inpatient experience, will consider someone with only outpatient
experience. Prefer prior experience with Cerner. Description:
Department: Physical Therapy Certifications Required: BLS, valid
license. Unit Notes: Candidates will treat an average of 10-12
patients per day during an 8-hour shift. Common diagnoses include
mainly orthopedic cases (post-surgical, general pain), neuro
issues, imbalance, and weakness. Required areas of coverage include
acute inpatient, swingbed, and outpatient settings. Typically, 2-3
hours of inpatient and swingbed care will be provided each day,
followed by outpatient coverage. Must be able to handle a
fast-paced, busy environment. Shifts are typically 5 days a week,
Monday through Friday. Weekend and holiday work are not required.
Dress code allows for scrubs or business casual attire, with
closed-toed shoes preferred. Department specific orientation will
be provided upon starting, including one-on-one orientation and
training. All clinicians must clock in and out at the facility.
Charting system used is Cerner. No BSN required. Trauma level is
unspecified. Care settings include acute environments. Division:
