• We genuinely care about our team members, just like how we care about our family members.The Big Picture -As an ITS Vendor Manager, you will perform contract, performance, relationship, and risk management with IT vendors. You own and must understand contractual, commercial, and operational working relationships with vendors to ensure that contractual commitments are delivered across IT. The vendors could be delivering IT products (hardware or software) or IT services (consulting, application development, infrastructure, etc.). You will provide oversight on contracts, processes, policies, and in various areas within the overall ITS budget in addition to providing input to annual ITS business planning.ResponsibilitiesYou Will:
  • Ownership of the relationship with key business partners and vendors:
    • Understand the business needs
    • Understand application and technology roadmap from the vendors
    • Contract negotiations and vendor communication strategy
    • Vendor security and audit contract terms around compliance to our security standards
    • PO and the spend approval process
    • License/technology usage tracking and pruning of tech to optimize the portfolio
    • Tool/vendor selection for new titles
    • Possibly license and contract terms expert across the portfolio/vendors, injecting standard terms over time.
    • Coach, advise and mentor team members to maximize their own development and work output.
    • Assist in planning, budgeting and maintaining the team training programs.
    • Foster culture of innovation and process improvement.
    • Lead team members by example in resourcefulness and self-starting work habits.
    • Problem solving based on information and sound judgment.QualificationsRequired Skills:
      • Minimum of 2+ years of management, supervisory or team leader experience.
      • Working knowledge of ITSM processes and terms.Preferred Skills:
        • Experience with both on-premise, cloud and SaaS vendor contracts.
        • Experience with Large Established Vendors (e.g., Oracle, Microsoft) and small start-up vendors.
        • Prior process improvement experience.Education:
