Location DescriptionPost Consumer Brands corporate headquarters in Lakeville, Minn. is about 20 miles south of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Lakeville has all the benefits of smaller town living with access to everything a large metropolitan area has to offer. Responsibilities Overview
This role leads the team that delivers the key category narrative, insights and plans, that support our Sales organizations in all customer facing initiatives and meetings
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Developer of customer and brand facing category management initiatives
Translate PCB & brand level strategies accurately into customized Category Story for Customer & Channel Playbooks (inc. emerging)
Owner of all retailer specific assortment and shelf efforts, working with CSE and Sales teams on alignment and implementation
Coordinate inputs from CSE teams to support CatMan outputs, inc. JDA management
Prioritize time and resourcing across CatMan sub-teams working with broader organization to match team time and budget to PCB strategic priorities
Help determine/recommend appropriate partnership roles with key customers based on customer segmentation (Captain, Validator etc)
Develop the Customer Category Management team and coach 'what good looks like'
Represent Customer Category Management throughout the broader org (with Marketing, Sales, Finance, etc.) and with key customers
Oversee longer term (3-5 year) strategic planning Qualifications Education
Bachelors Degree Required; MBA preferred
Minimum of 10 years of related experience
Previous Sales Account Experience strongly preferred
Previous CPG Industry experience
Other Characteristics
Ability to manage process across multiple sub-teams
Ability to balance customer and brand viewpoints
Knowledge of key CatMan outputs (e.g., Customer Story) and ability to coach team on "what good looks like"
Consultative selling approach to drive value in customer discussions
