Responsibilities OVERVIEW: Under the direction of the VP, Continuous Improvement, the Director of Continuous Improvement is accountable for leading the development and implementation of Post Consumer Brands Operating System. The PCB Operating System will consist of CI strategies, tools, and practices that deliver a system and culture resulting in year-on-year operations improvements that achieve and sustain Post Consumer Brands as the industry's low cost producer. Responsibilities include developing the tools, practices, systems, and metrics for enterprise operations that result in attaining the company's improvement objectives and growth strategies. This position will establish the systems, tools, and methods that deliver real time feedback and quantifiable metrics leading the integration for best practices. Responsibilities and Accountabilities: --- Implement and sustain continuous improvement practices and culture throughout the organization that will drive Post Consumer Brands to become and sustain the industry position of being the low cost producer. --- Identifies and implements best practices that create a working culture of continuous improvement based individual accountability and action by all employees utilizing appropriate Lean/Six Sigma tools and practices. --- Leads the development and integration of newly acquired businesses into PCB Operating Systems. --- Provide leadership in the identification and implementation of performance improvement initiatives across all manufacturing facilities resulting in OEE, yield, and reliability gains. --- Develop and implement visual (real-time) metrics, priorities, to eliminate inefficiencies and impacts to core metrics, which translates to increasing OEE, yield, and reliability. --- Evaluate operations ability to deploy and sustain optimal continuous improvement systems and tools aligned with concepts of Lean/Six Sigma manufacturing systems, Real Time Metrics, Key Performance Indicators, and continuous improvement practices. --- Ensure all aspects of operations management systems and tools that are deployed are properly implemented and recorded for data integrity, operational readiness, guaranteeing proper usage and management of data is optimized. --- Develop and promote the right behaviors to sustain a culture of continuous improvement necessary to support both short and long term business objectives. --- Integrate/participate in the overall operations leadership community by sharing and seeking best practices and methodologies and finding new ways to help drive for maximizing performance that sustains PCB's low cost producer position. --- Lead the development, education, and deployment of continuous improvement initiatives across all enterprise functions. Qualifications EDUCATION: --- Bachelor degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Management, Science or related field. EXPERIENCE: --- Minimum of 10 years combined related experience. --- Proven success leading a Lean / CI transformation initiative. --- Demonstrated success in leading and implementing operational effectiveness/improvement strategies. --- Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems and processes as practiced in a Lean Mfg environment. --- Strong knowledge of continuous improvement tools and techniques. --- Able to build relationships and inspire others.
