In this role, the EAM Center Manager serves as a senior manager in the Finance & Systems organization, directs significant programs and operates with a high degree of autonomy. This position requires a creative leader, manager, and advocate for information technology, reporting and data integrity. The position reports to the Assistant Vice President for University Services Finance & Systems.The EAM Center is responsible for all aspects of the ongoing support of the University s Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system TRIRIGA including systems maintenance, production support, analysis and design, testing, training, and execution of system projects and initiatives. TRIRIGA is the primary information technology application for Facilities Management (Operations & Maintenance), Capital Projects, Space Management, Real Estate, Facility Condition Analysis and Sustainability. This set of foundational data systems and services form the backbone of numerous mission critical campus operations and decision-making processes. The Center also supports University Services SAP Business Intelligence tool Business Objects.Major ResponsibilitiesOperational and Vendor Management: (55%)Manage and oversee ongoing projects, systems and initiativesProvide exceptional customer servicePartner with the University Service units, the Office of Information Technology and other University partners to meet business needs for facility related dataManage the University s contract TRIRIGA host vendor ECIFMProvide metrics and benchmarks to measure successProvide framework for quality assurance throughout the product lifecycleEnsure up to date and effective training practices and materialsEnsure data is accurate, consistent and appropriately securedStrategic Planning: (15%)Lead TRIRIGA governance / strategic issues committee(s), including module and cross module community of practice groups.Promote enterprise wide adoption and standardization.Participate in University Services and University-level IT committees, ensuring alignment with the key partners and the development of shared technology services throughout the universityWork with University Services Finance and Systems leadership to determine the future IT / data needs and opportunities for the universityPersonnel Management: (15%)Direct and manage the unit, ensuring a positive work environment for all staff.Recruit and hire qualified employees.Define roles and responsibilities for employees. Ensure employees understand their jobs and how performance will be measured.Evaluate employee performance and provide regular feedback using formal and informal channels.Provide coaching and development. Work with and help develop direct reports in areas of training and future job opportunities.
