Job Description Job Description Job Title: Set-Up Technician Job Description In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and breaking down equipment as dictated by the production schedule. You will inspect and assemble clean equipment, prepare it for sanitation processes, and train co-workers in setup and minor troubleshooting. Your role will include providing ongoing guidance and recommendations for project implementation including equipment specifications, installations, and facility modifications. Responsibilities Set-up and breakdown equipment as per production schedule. Inspect, assemble, and prepare equipment for sanitation. Train co-workers in equipment setup and troubleshooting. Inform maintenance technician of potential equipment issues. Participate in continuous improvement tasks. Wear personal protective equipment as required. Participate in the GFSI/FSSC22000 year audit and assist in developing procedures and corrective actions. Ensure a consistently clean, safe, and sanitary workspace by adhering to all Food Safety and Quality (FSQ) and Safety policies. Provide backup for Pre-op Inspection Tech. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills Troubleshooting and mechanical skills. Ability to learn and retain a wide variety of setup processes. Experience working with production schedules and equipment setup. Proficient in using checklists, SOPs, and following GMP guidelines. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent with working experience in a manufacturing environment. Good computer skills including proficiency in Excel, Word, and MS Office. Must be able to read and write in English and fill out paperwork. Ability to lift overhead 20-50 lbs. Ability to operate a pallet jack. Why Work Here? The environment is climate controlled outside of the production floor. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Le Center, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
