What You'll Do: Expert Installation: Install complete HVAC systems in residential homes, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductless mini-splits Precision Setup: Measure, size, and configure systems for optimal performance and energy efficiency Technical Connections: Connect electrical wiring, refrigerant lines, condensate drains, and ventilation systems according to manufacturer specifications and local codes Load Calculations: Run Manual J load calculations to ensure the right equipment is properly sized for each home System Optimization: Test, calibrate, and fine-tune systems to achieve peak efficiency and customer comfort Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot installation challenges and recommend appropriate solutions or equipment upgrades Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines, building codes, and manufacturer requirements on every job Team Collaboration: Work alongside skilled teammates to keep projects on schedule and maintain our high standards Customer Communication: Explain system operation to homeowners, answer questions, and ensure complete satisfaction Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and system specifications in Service Titan What You'll Bring: High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 5 years of residential HVAC installation experience (required) Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation best practices, and industry standards Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and equipment specifications Skilled in problem-solving, critical thinking, and diagnosing installation challenges Detail-oriented with precision in measurements, connections, and system setup Team player who can also work independently with minimal supervision Clear communicator with a customer-first mindset Physical ability to lift 75 lbs, work in attics/crawl spaces, and handle demanding installations Valid driver's license with clean driving record EPA Section 608 certification (preferred, or ability to obtain) Experience with ductwork fabrication and modification (preferred) What Makes You Stand Out: Customer Connection: Excellent people skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with homeowners Organized & Efficient: Strong organizational habits with attention to quality and detail Solution-Oriented: Quick thinking with creative solutions for challenges big or small Integrity-Driven: A reputation for doing things right and holding yourself to high standards Continuous Learner: Eager to stay current on new technologies, equipment, and installation techniques Why Join Us: At Legendary Home Services, our values guide every decision.
