Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the Industrial department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Machine Operator Location: Chetek, WI Pay Range: $24.61/hr Shift: 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm, Monday through Friday What's the Job? Operate and assist in operating multi-spindle automatic screw machines Install chucks and collets, set and secure tooling holders Check parts produced for dimensional and finish conformance to specifications Maintain statistical process control charting and operate PC stations for SPC readings Remove machined parts, manage raw materials, and organize tooling inventory What's Needed? Ability to understand part numbers and read technical specifications Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team Detail-oriented with good judgment to follow instructions and procedures Basic shop knowledge; willingness to attend basic shop training if needed Physical ability to lift and move materials ranging from 1 to over 50 lbs.
