Seeking to hire an Electrical Engineer for a long-term contract opportunity in Golden Valley, MN. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the development of innovative products for our client, a leading global provider of intuitive, connected home solutions

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Creation of circuit schematics for new designs, modifying existing schematics, and conducting tolerance analysis to ensure proper operation
Lead product qualification efforts, including writing test plans, supervising test activities, troubleshooting failures, reviewing/writing reports
Develop and perform tests to detect design issues and verify design robustness.
Analyze failed products and determine root causes.
Work in cross-functional, international development teams.





Other Details:

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, typical hours/flexible start times between 7-9 am
Hybrid schedule with Monday and Friday remote
Location: Golden Valley, MN
Duration: Long Term-1 Year +

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronic engineering.

Experience with analog circuit design, such as inverting, non-inverting, and transconductance amplifier configurations.

Familiarity with standard topologies of switching power supplies.

Understanding requirements for embedded circuit design; signal conditioning, noise mitigations, transient protection, etc.

Ability to lay out multilayer PCBs to mitigate problems such as part interferences, high voltage spacing violations, and electrical noise susceptibility.

Proficiency using MS Office applications: Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word.
