Job Description Job Description Job Title: General Laborer Job Description The candidate will be responsible for maintaining, cleaning, and performing preventative maintenance on personal care and landscape equipment. These rental equipment need to be operational, and the candidate will also be responsible for visually inspecting and performing basic repairs as needed. Candidates with no prior experience will still be considered if they have the right attitude and willingness to learn. Since clients will be coming and going, someone with an aptitude for customer service is important. Candidates must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors as needed. Responsibilities Maintain and clean personal care and landscape equipment. Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is operational. Visually inspect equipment and perform basic repairs as needed. Provide customer service to clients renting equipment. Work both indoors and outdoors as needed. Essential Skills General labor experience. 6 months of experience operating power tools/hand tools, even as a hobbyist. Basic assembly and construction skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Willingness to learn and a positive attitude. Aptitude for customer service. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment includes a rental area at the front of the building where customers come to rent equipment. Candidates will work in the shop or outside yard to maintain equipment and prepare for customer pick-up. The dress code is casual, with steel toe boots required. The team currently consists of five full-time and two part-time employees. There are two shifts available: 6:30am - 3pm or 8:30am - 5pm, with rotating Saturdays and a day off during the week. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Circle Pines, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
